Flea Treatments and Sheep Dips: High Pesticide Levels Detected in Welsh Waterways
A study by Cardiff University and Natural Resources Wales has identified alarming levels of pesticides from pet flea treatments and sheep dips in Welsh rivers. Researchers found that chemicals like imidacloprid and fipronil exceeded safe ecological limits in nearly half of the urban samples tested.
