Pentagon Issues Ultimatum to Anthropic Over Military AI Restrictions

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has summoned Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to the Pentagon following a dispute over the use of the Claude AI model. The Department of Defense is threatening to label the AI firm a supply chain risk if it continues to restrict the military's use of its technology for surveillance and autonomous weapons.
