Scientists Identify New Class of 'Liquid' Planet with Perpetual Magma Oceans
Astronomers have discovered a new category of exoplanet characterized by a global, molten surface and a sulfur-rich atmosphere. The planet, L98-59d, orbits a red star 35 light years away and challenges existing models of planetary habitability.
